  • CitectHMI 6.00, 6.00 Service Pack A, 6.10

Summary:
My CitectSCADA Web Server runs on a Windows Server 2003 machine. When I log in as the Web Client administrator to view the configuration page a system message "Error in Not Found" is displayed.

I believe the security settings are all correct, so what is wrong?

Solution:
This is unique to Windows Server 2003 or, more specifically, Internet Information Services Version 6 configuration.

1. Ensure that in Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Windows components: 'Application Server' is enabled. Also, within Application Server, check that 'ASP.NET' and 'IIS' are enabled.

2. Ensure that in Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager: 'Web Sites' |_ 'Web Service Extensions' has the following set to 'Allowed' status:
- All Unknown ISAPI Extensions
- Active Server Pages
- ASP.NET v###.

These and further configuration requirements for IIS Version 6 can be found in the 'IIS' section of the document 'WebClient QuickStart'. Please refer the Whitepapers section of the Knowledgebase for this guide.
