Summary:
When I developed a project to support the local language, I noticed that ENGLISH.DBF file still contained the strings which had been removed from the project. I had tried to delete them from this DBF file but they came back again after running "Update Pages". It appears that @ strings are also stored somewhere else in the project. Where are they saved?

Solution:
The translated texts are also saved in file PGLANG.DBF. If you want to get rid of unwanted texts completely from the project, you have to manually delete them from these two files, ENGLISH.DBF and PGLANG.DBF as well as from the graphics pages.
