I would like to use variable tags which are called from the Cicode function in the digital alarm ( or time stamped alarm) description field. How do I make these variable tags work?

Solution:

The variable tags should be passed to the Cicode function as arguments. If you use the tags directly in the function, they will always have 0 or an empty string value.
