Summary:
I have configured Process Analyst, in CitectSCADA, and the alarm description for the Alarm Pens added in process analyst show the Alarm Tag name of the first alarm tag in the corresponding alarms entry, rather than the Configured alarm description.

e.g. If you add digital alarms, the alarm description will read the tag name of the first digital alarm tag. 
 

Solution:
This is currently a limitation within Citect, where in order to get the correct Alarm description, you will be required to run Process Analyst on the CitectSCADA Alarm Server.

A work-around is to use the Alarm comment instead of the Alarm description.  Process Analyst will then display the right comment for every alarm.
