saving to have Excel automatically open the SAVE_DBF.XLS. |
Solution: |
There are a number of ways to achieve
this. Method 1: 1. Copy the SAVE_DBF.XLS file to your MyDocuments folder. 2. Add the following key your registry, and change the <User logon name> to the name of the currently logged in user: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel\Options] "OPEN"="\"C:\\Documents and Settings\\<User logon name>\\My Documents\\SAVE_DBF.XLS\"" 3. The SAVE_DBF.XLS will now open automatically. Method 2: 1. Create a SAVE_DBF.XLS shortcut and add the shortcut to the path C:\Documents and Settings\<User logon name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART 2. The SAVE_DBF.XLS will now open automatically. |
