Summary:
If you are editing any DBF files in your Citect project on a regular basis, it may be advantageous, and time saving to have Excel automatically open the SAVE_DBF.XLS.

Solution:
There are a number of ways to achieve this.

Method 1:

1. Copy the SAVE_DBF.XLS file to your MyDocuments folder.

2. Add the following key your registry, and change the <User logon name> to the name of the currently logged in user:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel\Options]
"OPEN"="\"C:\\Documents and Settings\\<User logon name>\\My Documents\\SAVE_DBF.XLS\""

3. The SAVE_DBF.XLS will now open automatically.

Method 2:

1. Create a SAVE_DBF.XLS shortcut and add the shortcut to the path C:\Documents and Settings\<User logon name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
