Summary:
I am setting up the SNMPII protocol in Citect to communicate to some Cisco Switches. I have downloaded an MIB file from the Cisco Website.
When I load this MIB file into the MIB2CIT configuration utility, I get the following error message:
ciscoC2900MIB No Parent: ciscoMgmt

Am I doing something wrong, or is this MIB file supported?
 

Solution:
The problem has been tracked down to the Cisco MIB file using an alternative bracket symbol. This syntax was not supported by the old MIB2CIT utility. The MIB2CIT utility has since added the required code to support this new syntax. MIB2CIT version 1.00.10.000 and later have this fix.
