Summary: |
After installing security update 896358 (XP
Service Pack 2 and Windows Server SP1), I download a Compiled Help
Module (CHM) file (such as CitectSCADA's or CitectP2B
Knowledgebases) from the Internet to a computer, when I click Open
in the Open File-Security Warning dialog box, the CHM files do not
open or do not display the article's content instead giving a
message "Website could not be found". |
Solution: |
This is a known issue to Microsoft and
relates to increased security in Microsoft's Windows XP and Windows
Server 2003 products with the release of Service Pack 2 for Win XP
and Service Pack 1 for Server 2003. There is a knowledgebase article on Microsoft's website (article 902225), however you can avoid this issue by ensuring that the "Always ask before opening this file" check box in the Open File-Security Warning dialog box is unchecked. Alternatively, right-click the file that you want to open, click Properties, and then click Unblock. |
