According to the help “you can set up
multiple ‘virtual’ modems in Windows with different settings that
use a single COM port. This is useful for dialled devices when you
only have one COM port or only wish to use one modem and the
devices use different communication settings. This configuration
can cause a handle leak that will eventually result in a
crash. |

This problem has been fixed in version 6.10. |
