Summary:
I cannot get the Bailey driver v2.1.00.243 and higher to communicate with CIU03 units even with the [BAILEY]CIU=1 citect.ini parameter set. These units return all 0s even when connected as a single unit with a single tag. The driver does not generate any errors. The Bailey driver v2.01.00.521 can communicate successfully to the CIU03 unit with the exact same project configuration and citect.ini parameters.
 

Solution:
You will need to set the following citect.ini parameters to allow communications

[BAILEY]
CIU=2
Options=27

This rectifies the startup initialisation error.
