Summary:
I am trying to use the "Export to File" button on the CSV Trend template but the data does not export to the file. I have also noticed that the full trend tag name is not being displayed in the export file - only the first few characters. My trends however are working fine.

What is the cause of this error and how do I fix this? 
 

Solution:
CitectSCADA does not support the exporting of Trend Tags with the "\" character in the trend tag name. No trend data will be exported and the trend tag name will be displayed as only the characters before the first "\" character.

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA version 5.50 to 6.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
