Summary:
Users experience memory leaks on Windows 2003 when a server is not available but is configured to be available. 
 

Solution:
Ensure the PC has Windows 2003 Service Pack 1 installed.

If for whatever reason this is not possible either :
- remove references to missing servers or
- increase [lan]watchtime= to say 30 to reduce the effect of the leak.

This issue arises because MS Windows Server 2003 leaks memory
on IP connections which fail when Service Pack 1 is not installed.
