Summary:
Problem: I have configured Citect as an OPC client and using Matrikon OPC simulation as a server. Matrikon OPC server is running on a remote PC. During runtime, the tags show #COMS and I encounter the following error screens.

Access Violation Error

PLC Data not yet Valid Hardware Alarm

 

Solution:
In the boards form, enter the computer name where Matrikon OPC server is installed. Compile and run the project again.
