Summary:
The WebClient downloads and installs the cab file on each connection to the server. This is not acceptable because the user logged on must have administrator rights to enable downloading and installation of the cab file. Network administrators do not want users to have administrator rights on web client machines.
 

Solution:
This problem was identified in CitectSCADA V6.0 Service Pack A. CitectSCADA V6.0 Service Pack A has since been updated to prevent the web client machines from repeatedly downloading and installing CitectSCADAWebClient_6_0_227.cab file.

If you encounter this problem with the web client, download service pack A again from the Citect website and install it on the web server.
