Summary:
I am trying to display the data from a DBF file using Ci.Recipe Manager, within CitectSCADA. I seem to be following the correct procedures to link the DBF file to Ci.Recipe Manager, however I get this error message

Solution:
This is a limitation within the ODBC driver, which complies with the 8.3 naming convention, thus the name for the DBF should have a maximum of 8 characters before the dot, and 3 after it. Microsoft KB article 148149 explains this as well as provides a work around for it.
