Summary: |
When loading a Process Analyst View (.PAV)
file with a large number of trend pens I can see a hardware alarm
that states "Object event queue flooded". If I reduce the number of
trend pens in the .PAV to a smaller value and reload it the
hardware alarm does appear. |
Solution: |
This error message is similar to "out of
cicode threads". Every ActiveX event (Process Analyst is an
ActiveX control) uses a cicode thread until it is processed, and
this may cause Citect to run out of cicode threads.
Increasing the number of cicode threads via the [CODE]Threads is a
quick solution to this. |
