Summary:
On my hardware alarms page I have an alarm that states conflicting types of animation referencing AN1 and AN2

Solution:
Citect reserves AN1 and AN2 for runtime, so it is necessary to find out by which page opening generates the hardware alarm. Once you have found the page, open it in the Graphics Builder.
Click on Tools>Go to Object, and find out which objects has one of these two animation numbers. In this case it is in the Template

Open up the template in the graphics builder and go into the properties of the object which has an animation number of 1 and change it to a unique and unreserved AN (Example being 3)

After this is done, enable the version 3/4 palette in the options window, and by using the animator number tool to insert the animation point 1 and 2. on the right hand side of the page.

Finally, perform an update pages so that this modified template can propagate to all required pages.
Note: If changes do not propagate to the original page, open the affected graphics page, go into its properties and select a different template and then revert back to the modified one. Then update pages once more.
