Summary:
I recently Upgraded my CAB files for WebClient.  I am prompted for my login before being able to access the 'deployment list' page, as per usual, however, once I choose my deployment, I am prompted again, and my password doesn’t work!

If I edit the deployment to use the old CAB file then my password works again.
 

Solution:
The IIS permissions on that latest CAB file have not been configured correctly. The security settings for that folder have not propagated to the new file that was manually copied across.
You will need to set the permissions of the new CAB file manually, or edit the security for the folder and select the advanced option to "Replace permission entries on all child objects…" and apply the changes.
