When I ran setup of PCs without any
previous versions of CitectSCADA installed, the installation
completed successfully. On one PC I already had versions of
CitectSCADA installed, and in this case I received the following
installation error:

Solution: |
This error message is generic and does not
provide enough information to determine the cause. It can be
commonly caused by the installation of an earlier version of the
Sentinel driver for the protection key. First use control panel to
remove the current version/s. Then try reinstalling. If the problem persists, install using the following command line: setup.exe /v"/lv*x c:\filename.log" Where c:\filename.log is the path and file to log to. This will log the installation to the ASCII log file and you can send this, along with relevant system information, to Support for problem identification. |
