Tag Import in CitectSCADA V6.10 leaves the
I/O Device field blank. How do you fix this? |
Solution: |
This problem occurs when you have multiple
versions of Citect installed on the same PC. It should not occur on
a clean install of Citect V6.10. To fix this problem, you can do the following: (1) In the registry editor, go to the following location: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{44F924F2-C367-11d1-A0CB-00805F35F8B0}. (2) Select “InprocServer32”. (3) Right mouse click on “(Default)” and select “Modify”. (4) Change “C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\OLE DB\MSDAOSP.DLL” to “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Citect\MSDAOSP.DLL”. Note: Editing the registry should be done with caution and only
if you are confident with your recovery processes. |
