Summary:
Having read KB Q2188, I am aware of the possible methods CitectSCADA supports for communications with the S7-200 PLC range. The later S7-200 PLC models come with an Ethernet card option. The PSDIRECT is a new driver which was not available when this KB was written. Is it possible to use the PSDIRECT driver to communicate with an S7-200 which has an Ethernet module present?
 

Solution:
An updated version of the PSDIRECT driver is available which supports communications to the S7-200 PLC via the Ethernet module. This does not include the serial port which is used for programming. For further details regarding configuration, please read the "PSDIRECT Users Guide Rev 2.3.pdf", available for download from the DriverWeb.

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in PSDIRECT versions 7.09.49.000 to 7.09.50.000. This problem has been fixed in version 7.09.51.000.
