Summary:
I get the following error message in web client when I try to connect to a CitectSCADA across a WAN and I use a proxy server for my internet access (e.g. behind a corporate network):

"Starting Citect Web Client Failed: Can not Initialise citect system" 
 

Solution:
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA versions v6 to v6.1 SPKA. 
We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
