Summary:

CitectSCADA (as an OPC Server) and Wonderware OPCLink (as an OPC Client) used to work via DCOM on two separate machines using Program ID 'Citect.OPC'.  Now when CitectSCADA and OPC Link are on the same machine (not using DCOM) and using Program ID 'Citect.OPC'... OPC Link cannot connect and hence does not get data from CitectSCADA.

Solution:

Use Program ID 'Citect.OPCRemote' instead of 'Citect.OPC' when CitectSCADA and Wonderware OPCLink are on the same machine not using DCOM.
