Summary:
I have my web client set up in CitectSCADA and for some of the pages which I navigate to I get the following page open error: 
"The system cannot open the device or file specified."



When I view CitectSCADA runtime directly I don't have any error messages like the one described above.
 

Solution:
This error may occur if you have long page names in Citect. To work around this ensure that your page names in Citect are less than 25 characters long.

This can also happen if any of your included projects' directory is located within your top project's directory. You need to make sure that the top project and all included projects are located in the root "user" directory.



Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA version 6.10, 6.10 SPA but has been fixed in Service Pack B.
