Summary:
I have an application which grabs information from MS SQL server and put it in a DBF file that Citect can read. However, the application cannot create/open the DBF file if Citect Explorer is up and running. Similarly, Citect Run Time cannot create/open the DBF file if the application is up and running. How do I solve this problem?
 

Solution:
Citect released a critical update on April 7, 2005 that fixes Microsoft Windows registry setting. This critical update is available from our website or you can just click the following link http://www3.citect.com/support/product_alerts to download it. Please make sure you follow the installation instructions.
