Summary: |
While upgrading a project or updating
graphics pages using the option "Update Pages" in the Graphics
Builder, suddenly the following error appears:
|
Solution: |
The names of all the Graphics Pages as
well as the Super Genies (names prefixed with !) that are going to
be updated in a project, either by upgrading a project or by using
the option "Update Pages" in the Graphics Builder, are stored in a
file called pages.dbf. This pages.dbf file can be found under the
User\Project_Name folder. If there are names of Super Genies
defined in the pages.dbf file but these Super Genies did not exist
in the project then during the update of the pages Citect opens the
graphics pages or Super Genies and then saves them one at a time
but when Citect tries to open a Super Genie that does not exist
then Citect aborts the project update or the update of pages with
the above mentioned error. This error could probably also occur if the name of a graphics page is still stored in the pages.dbf file but does not exist in the project anymore and during the upgrade of the project or the updating of graphics pages, Citect tries to open this graphics page that does not exist. |
