Summary:
The system beeps when a DspEdit() pop up box has been displayed and I either clicks the mouse outside the box to close it or press the return key which also closes it as well.
 

Solution:
This beeping behaviour only occurs in version 6.10 as some memory clean up changes to the dialog thread were implemented in version 6.10 which is contributing in causing the system beep.

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA versions 6.10 to 6.10B. This problem has been fixed in version 7.00.
