Summary:
Scientific notation has not been accepted for input fields that display in scientific notation in Citect Trend graphs.
 

Solution:
In version 6.10SpkB of Citect SCADA the input validation has been improved.

These functions now have the following attributes:

(a) Scientific notation is allowed in StrToValue().
(b) StrToReal() now checks all input digits.

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA versions 5.50 to 6.10SpkA. This problem has been fixed in version 6.10SpkB.
