Summary:

Incorrect data values or #COM can occur when UINT variable tags are used with OPC v1.15.16.001 in conjunction with CitectSCADA versions prior to v7. This is caused by incorrect mapping of unsigned integers to a vtType.

Solution:

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in OPC version 1.15.16.1. This problem has been fixed in version 1.15.18.001.
