Summary:

A space in a project name causes the Alarm server process to enter a state of “Not Responding” and never starts.

 

Solution:

Citect recommends to replace any space by an underscore ( _ ) in your project name.

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectSCADA versions 7.00. This issue will be fixed in a future release of the product.
