Summary:
After upgrading a project to V6.1 SPK-B with 2 IODevices defined in the project with the same IODevice number but different protocols, with one IODevice set as Primary and the redundant IODevice set as Standby, the project compiles successfully but then reports a compile error message: "IODevices for this unit number mix different protocols"

Solution:

This is a valid configuration as long as the IODevices configured also have the same addressing schema; however this functionality has now been enforced by the compiler to now report an error message when a configuration error is contained within the project.

The current workaround for this issue is to roll-back to CitectSCADA V6.1 SPK-A or upgrade the project to CitectSCADA V7.0. Citect Support is aware of this problem and is currently working on the issue. Please contact Citect Support for further information regarding an update to this Error Message.
