Summary:

I have configured a variable tag with 8 characters in the Eng Unit field, however, the last character is truncated in run time. The v7 help states that 16 characters can be used.

 

Solution:

Our developers are aware of this issue, the "fix" for the character limit should be expected on Citect versions later than v7.0. At this stage we would recommend that a maximum of 7 characters be used.
