Summary: |
When I start my Citect server it freezes and says that the Alarm Server is not responding. The Runtime Manager shows "Not Responding" for the Alarm Server process. |
Solution: |
This can be caused by having a space in the Project Name. The reason that the process becomes unresponsive is because the Alarm Server cannot open the Project _ Cluster _ALMINDEXSAVE.DAT file. Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in Version 7.0. A fix for this problem shall be available in Version 7.0 Service Pack A and Version 7.10. In the mean time, make sure that your CitectSCADA project does not have a space in the name. |
