Summary:

The help documentation for the ABCLX driver suggests that it is possiblet to read tags on a secdual rather than using the PLC scan time.  This is achived by using appending the Citect Tag Address with !D.  However when the !D is added to the tag address the tag returns #COM.

 

Solution:
Direct read functionality !D has been removed from the driver in version 3.02.18.001
