Summary:
I had a problem after installing a dual-screen map. At startup the application "STOPPED" after the initialization of the system.  I am using a Matrox card. 

Solution:

To avoid the issue UN-check the option "Automaticaly Save/Restore windows Position" on Matrox PowerDesk “Desktop management” dialog  (see the screenshot below).
