Dropdown menu disappears in web client, especially for the ‘Log In’ button.

 

Solution:

This usually gives you a hardware alarm:

The solution to this issue is:

1. Go to this directory on the PC that is running as the Server: C:\WINDOWS\system32\citect\webclient\700

2. Copy the File "CtUtil.dll"

3. Paste to this directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER DIR]\Local Settings\Temp\Citect\[Deploy Name]\[Project Name]

After implementing these instructions, the hardware alarm should disappear and the dropdown menu should work properly.

NOTE: The ctutil.dll file should be automatically copied across when you first click on a drop-down menu. However, in some specific cases, it may be reported (by a HW alarm) that the file is missing. In this case only, the file needs to be copied manually.
