Summary:

What is the tag addressing structure for a TSX37 Micro PLC connected to the Uni-Telway port (TER) of a Premium PLC as a slave?

Solution:

CitectSCADA is not able to communicate directly to the Micro PLC via the TER Uni-Telway port of the Premium PLC.

To read the tag data from a Micro PLC all data needs to be mapped or exchanged from the Micro into the Premium PLC using read_var and write_var commands (Unity Pro). This mapped data can then be referenced in Citect accordingly.

The UNITE driver only supports 3 levels of XWAY adressing (IO Device form) Network.Station.Gate. There is no allowance for SLAVE devices connected via the TER port.
