Summary:
Can I open a webclient within the a Citect Page running the MS Web Browser ActiveX Control, as per Q3237?

Solution:

No, you are trying to run an ActiveX control within an ActiveX control and it is not supported. The MS Web Browser ActiveX control is a cut down version of Internet Explorer and does not support a Web Browser. The initial page will run but on selecting the deployment, you will recieve the error "Starting Citect Web Client Failed: Can not load citectweb.dll".

As an alternative, you can run Internet explorer as a HTA, using the exec function to launch IE.
