Summary:

On startup of Runtime I get the following error "Could not initialize project configuration or invalid project configuration". The project compiles ok but won't start. 

Solution:

This usually indicates that there is an invalid project configuration (as the error suggests). It is likely to be an invalid cluster/server combination but can also occur if an invalid I.P address is used in the network addresses form. The I.P. address is not checked by the compiler and will result in an error on startup.
