Summary:

Unable to write to .delay value of a Digital Alarm Tag when "Alarm Properties as tags" are used.  For Example; using TagDebug() form and writing to the AlarmTagName.Delay value will result in a Hardware alarm: "PLC Server Write location is protected".  Changing the Citect.ini parameters and deleting the AlarmSave.DAT files did not resolve the problem:

Solution:

A workaround exists for this issue by using the AlarmSetDelay() / AlarmGetDelay() cicode functions.
