Summary: |
Caching for scheduled I/O, builds a file
name from the IOServer name, unit number and the path of the Citect
directory for the project. For example:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Citect\CitectSCADAv7.0r1\User\Modsim_ScheduledIO_Cutdown\IOServer_1.dat
The full-stop (period) character was searched for from left-to-right and in the above example, CitectSCADA would attempt to create a new directory rather than a file; which would fail. There was no error message. Cache build and retrieval simply could not work, and the user would see #WAIT until the first schedule cycle occurred. |
Solution: |
Avoiding directory structures with full-stop characters circumvents the problem. The software fix for this issue is targeted for CitectSCADA version 7.0 Service Pack 3. |
