Summary:
Lantronix Xpress-DR is a TCPIP to serial converter developed by Lantronix.

How to connect through that converter to a specific device at the other end?

Solution:
 As listed in the specification document of Lantronix Xpress-DR, it is noted that MODBUS protocol can be used to communicate through the converter.

However, since it is connected via Ethernet from the PC to the converter, one should use MODNET (Citect protocol) instead of Modbus.

Configure the connection to the device as normal.

Contact Citect support for further support on configuration using modnet protocol.
