Summary: When using the Find and Replace utility from the Citect Project Editor to find a variable tag that is associated (used) within a page, double clicking the search list would normally open up the page that contains an object associated to the variable tag. There is a case when double clicking from the search list it comes up with a dialog box stating that "Project not found" and the page can't be opened. Diagram as follows: |
How can we resolve this?
Solution: |
The issue is caused by a project name
which has more than (or just) 32 characters. The search
functionality will function correctly when the project name is
shorter than 32 characters (i.e. up to 31 characters only). Rename your project name to get around the issue. Citect Explorer -> *choose your project form the list* -> File -> Project Properties -> *change project name* |
