Summary: |
I have added an I/O Device to my project but when I start-up the Citect runtime I get the following error message: Failed to Load Database '_IODev' (FILE NOT FOUND) ... where IODev is the name of the I/O Device that I've just added. |
Solution: |
Some drivers (e.g. Bailey) use address mapping which means that any I/O Devices using these drivers will require variable tags to be configured. To eliminate this start-up error message, make sure that you have added at least 1 Variable Tag for that particular I/O Device before starting up the Citect runtime. |
