Summary:
I am communicating with a Moxa ioLogik E2240 using Citect's MODNET driver and I am able to read the analogue outputs. However, writing to these same analogue outputs results in temporary #COM and the writes requests fail.

Solution:
The Moxa ioLogik E2240 does not support Modbus/TCP writes. Should you require the ability to read and write to these analogue outputs, Moxa has an OPC server which can do this. You can then use Citect's OPC driver to communicate with the OPC Server
