| When running a v7.10 Service Pack 2 I/O
Server and mixing Service Pack 2 clients with earlier versions of
Citect, it is possible to obtain duplicate subscriptions for the
same tag. This is because the Service Pack 2clients provide
additional subscription parameters compared to the subscriptions of
the earlier clients. Although this increases the total count of
subscriptions, the only consequence is that the actual list of
subscriptions is larger. There is no impact on the network traffic
for publishing subscription updates nor on the loading of the I/O
Server or field devices. Note that the subscription count is not
related to the licensing point count. |
