21.5.6.2                                BEMS uses Kilowatt-Hours and Cubic Meters

The BEMS package is designed for use with Kilowatt-Hour meters for electric power and Cubic Meters (M³) for gas and water meters.

The BEMS package reads the metered resource once every 15 minutes. The BEMS package calculates the difference in the meter reading between the current and previous reading.

Accumulation Tags to convert power to energy & flow rate to volume

 If you have meters that measure Power (i.e. Kilowatts) or Flow (gallons/hour or cubic meters / hour), then you must create Accumulation Tags in WebAccess to create the appropriate input to the BEMS package. The Accumulation tags will totalize the flow or power.  The BEMS package would then use the Accumulation Tags instead of the IO Tags.
