A Group is usually a related set of Energy Items, for example a Building could be a group and each electrical meter in that Building could be added as Items to this Group.

A Group can also include other Groups.  For example, following the example of the Building as a Group electric meters, a Campus Group could consist of multiple Buildings, each Building being a Group of Electric meters.

Groups are also used to associate a reference Temperature and a reference Humidity with groups of Electric Power Meters, Gas, Water and other energy sources.

The Group List is opened by selecting the BEMS Project name from the BEMS Project List (figure 3.2).
