24.2.4                     Configuring a WinCE SCADA (Node Properties)

Your Windows CE SCADA node should be supplied from the manufacturer with the SCADA node software and license file installed.

To configure the SCADA node, you must connect to a Windows 32- based Project Node (e.g. XP or 2000) and use the web browser to configure the SCADA node properties and Tags in the Project Manager.

Configuring a Windows CE SCADA node is the same as any other node, except the following features should not be used:

·         Outgoing Email (SMTP) Server  - email is not support in Win CE.  

·         Email From  - email is not support in Win CE  

·         Report Email To - email is not support in Win CE    

·         Report Email Cc   - email is not support in Win CE  

·         Alarm Email To  - email is not support in Win CE  

·         Alarm Email Cc  - email is not support in Win CE  

·         Reply Alarm Email to Ack. No - email is not support in Win CE 

·         Global Script via Email No  - email is not support in Win CE

·         Global Script Security Code  - email is not support in Win CE

·         Incoming Email (POP3) Server   - email is not support in Win CE

·         Email Account Name  - email is not support in Win CE 

·         Email Password  - email is not support in Win CE

·         Check Email Every 60 Seconds  - email is not support in Win CE

·         Alarm Voice  - Text-to-Speech is not supported in CE.

·         Video is not supported in CE.

·         Reports are not supported in CE (i.e. No Scheduled Reports).

Warning - The current version of WebAccess (4.0-2004.06.22) will allow you to enable these features.  Some of these will prevent the Windows CE SCADA node from starting.
