4.2        Analog Tag Properties

Analog type Tags are floating point numbers and integers used to display information about the process, facility or equipment.  Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and Counters are examples of Analog values.  98.6, 14.7, and 100 are analog values.

Analog tags have more properties than Text or Digital tags.  Analog Tags Properties become the Tag Fields associated with Analog Tags.  For example, Engineering Units becomes the .ENUNIT field for the tag.  For example, TIC101.ENUNIT is DEGF.
