This is the first step in creating an Analog Parameter. The important thing is to get the Data type correct, you cannot change from Analog to Discrete to Text. All other properties can be changed.
Chosen from a Pull Down List on the Create Parameter properties page. Parameters are IO device driver dependant. Refer to your specific Device Driver Manual for details on all the entries in Parameters Properties.
